What do you enjoy most about CCS?
I love the calm and comfortable environment that CCS has created where I am able to teach what I love with support. I enjoy seeing the kids that have been in choir for many years come back and all the new kids that I get to know and see all their talents come together.
Tell us about your family!
I was born and raised in Simi Valley. My mom is the kindergarten teacher at CCS and so both my sisters (I am the middle child) and I attended Cornerstone from preschool up to 8th grade. My older sister was here back with the high school. My dad has also played a big part in the school by going to each of our field trips and volunteering in all our classes at Cornerstone. I am 21 this year and excited to see where God takes me from here!
What is your favorite scripture verse and why? My favorite scripture verse is Romans 15:13. I love the reminder that God is there to fill us with hope and peace because He first and foremost has hope in us. Especially going through College and stressful moments it is so calming to have that reminder and know that there will always be peace in Him.
